Watoga is a software company building the future of simulation software for the mining industry. We are currently in the building a simulator for fragmentation and comminution for mining operations, RockHound. Our aim is to provide a holistic simulation tool integrated into a drill and blast modelling software package developped with the industry insights of on-the-mine engineers.

RockHound simulates the downstream impact of the engineer's drill and blast pattern and timing for the entire value chain informed by the specific parameters of the mining environment. Our novel approach to this problem uses physics informed machine learning for faster simulation with increased reliability. The software is a fly wheel that uses all the data available from a mine (pictures and videos of the blasts easily uploaded) and our proprietary model to improve itself on every blast.
